INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 13-year-old who police said shot his younger sibling Friday has been arrested in connection with the shooting at the Hearts Landing Apartments near 42nd Street and Post Road on the city’s east side.
Police initially said the shooting was believed to be an accident, but Monday night, the 13-year-old was charged with criminal recklessness and dangerous possession of a firearm.
The 11-year-old brother, who was shot in the stomach, was taken to Riley after the incident.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – More than $350,000 worth of marijuana and $50,000 in cash were seized by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police early Thursday morning on the city’s north side.
Officers also recovered several assault rifles, handguns and thousands of rounds of ammunition in the raid.
Police arrested Ryan Knoll, 37, of Indianapolis and Chad Shimon, 25, of California were arrested on a charge of dealing narcotics.
The investigation is still underway and police expect to release more details in the case.

IMPD was called to the 300 block of West 41st Street at 3:08 p.m. Friday on a report of shots fired; they found a Patrick Rowe, 27, Indianapolis, fatally shot. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood and Crime Lab technicians are processing the scene.

INDIANAPOLIS – Two men in disguises robbed a Wendy’s restaurant at gunpoint Sunday evening and made off with bags of cash.
Officers were called to the restaurant in the 5200 block of S. East Street just before 10 p.m. with word that two men had just fled the store.
According to the police report, the robbers forced the employees to the floor and demanded the manager open the safe.
The robbers then used zip ties to bind the employees’ hands before running out of the store.
Witnesses say one of the robbers was wearing a black hoodie and a fake beard and moustache. The
