Alan Miles, a legal recruiter, has successfully sued the law firm Bingham McCutchen and will receive almost $1.9 Million. Miles filed his complaint because he felt he deserved a fee for setting up a meeting which resulted in Bingham McCutchen aquiring the law firm McKee Nelson. The arbitrator sided with Alan Miles, awarding the $1.5 Million fee plus interest and costs. Bingham McCutchen is a large firm, and so is expected to have no difficulty paying the money.
