Last week on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” program, Dallas Federal Reserve Chairman Richard Fisher made a guest appearance to talk about the strong job growth in his Federal Reserve district, 96% of which is in Texas. Fisher noted that his district now has more employment than it did before the 2008 financial crisis, and that 38% of jobs that have been created in the economic recovery have been in Texas. And he stated, “The most important thing that’s happened to us is tort reform.”
