INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A 34-year-old man died early Tuesday morning after being shot Monday afternoon in north Indianapolis, police said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said officers were called to the 7000 block of Rosehill Drive, near Michigan and Westlane roads, at about 3:45 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found Lavern Kelsey, 34, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital and underwent surgery, but died early Tuesday morning, IMPD said.
